Abstract: Socio-economic barriers continue to hinder equitable access to vocational education opportunities, particularly among marginalized populations. This research examines strategies to mitigate socio-economic barriers and promote inclusive access to vocational education. The objective is to identify socio-economic factors that restrict access and explore interventions that facilitate equal participation in vocational training programs. A survey research design is employed to gather data from a sample size of 300 vocational students and educators in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Purposive sampling ensures representation of socio-economically diverse student demographics and educational professionals. The case study analysis focuses on successful initiatives that have addressed socio-economic barriers in vocational education settings. Findings reveal that financial aid programs, community partnerships, and flexible learning options are effective in overcoming socio-economic constraints. Recommendations emphasize the need for policy reforms, targeted financial support, and outreach programs to create a more inclusive vocational education environment.
